Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to trigger a double free.

The vulnerability exists due to improper device tree node reference management in the Renesas R-Car Gen2 PHY driver's rcar_gen2_phy_probe function when handling a PHY creation failure. A local user can trigger the PHY creation failure to trigger a double free.
