Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper fault handling in the BPF verifier when executing BPF_LOAD_ACQ instructions on untrusted pointers. A local user can load a BPF program containing a load-acquire operation on an untrusted pointer to cause a denial of service.
