Use-after-free in Linux kernel - CVE-2026-90210
Published: September 18, 2026
Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a use-after-free condition.
The vulnerability exists due to use-after-free in bpf_trampoline_multi_attach_free when a BPF trampoline update fails before multi-attach fentry modification or unregistration. A local user can trigger the failed update to cause a use-after-free condition.
In this condition, ftrace can still call the old image.
