The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to an uninitialized pointer in the NFSv4.1 callback sequence argument decoder when handling NFSv4.1 callback sequence arguments containing an empty referring call list. A remote attacker can send a crafted NFSv4.1 callback request to cause a denial of service.
