Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read in nxp_process_fw_dump() when processing truncated firmware dump chunks. A remote attacker can send a truncated firmware dump frame with connection handle 0xfff to cause a denial of service.
