Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper bounds checking in the MANA GDMA MSI-X vector resource query when initializing MSI-X vectors on a device whose MSI-X table is smaller than the calculated vector count. A local user can trigger MANA GDMA driver initialization to cause a denial of service.
