Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote user to disclose sensitive information, perform server-side requests, and manipulate the filesystem.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the content server conversion API's conversion options when processing conversion requests. A remote privileged user can submit conversion options containing attacker-controlled filesystem paths or URLs to disclose sensitive information, perform server-side requests, and manipulate the filesystem.

Exploitation requires write access to the content server and an existing book ID.
