Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to stack-based buffer overflow when handling malicious input. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trick the victim into opening a specially crafted file, cause the application to read past the boundary allocated to a stack object, which could allow execution arbitrary code under the context of the application.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
