Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a null pointer dereference in the Xe device coredump cleanup routines when freeing an unpopulated coredump snapshot. A local user can trigger coredump cleanup before a snapshot is fully populated to cause a denial of service.
