Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a kernel warning.
The vulnerability exists due to improper locking in the Mediatek Paris GPIO direction callbacks when the shared GPIO proxy performs GPIO direction operations. A local user can invoke GPIO direction operations to cause a kernel warning.
