Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a null pointer dereference in the AMD display DP link retraining routine when updating a stream and its phantom stream separately. A local user can trigger separate updates for a stream and its phantom stream to cause a denial of service.
