Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free in the AMDGPU module exit routine when unloading the AMDGPU module while call_rcu() callbacks remain pending. A local user can unload the module before pending callbacks complete to cause a denial of service.
