Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause an out-of-bounds read.
The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read in the rvu_register_interrupts() function when searching MSI-X vector name buffers. A local user can trigger MSI-X interrupt registration to cause an out-of-bounds read.
The issue can occur at boot when debug options are enabled.
