Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper synchronization in the sched_ext kick_sync_wait_bal_cb() callback when the callback is executed on a foreign CPU. A local user can trigger scheduler operations that flush pending balance callbacks to cause a deadlock.
