Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a race condition in struct amdxdna_cmd_chain when processing a userspace-modifiable command_count field. A local user can set command_count to zero in shared AMDXDNA_BO_SHARE memory to cause a denial of service.
