Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a resource leak.

The vulnerability exists due to improper resource management in amdxdna_cmd_set_error() when handling a command chain whose buffer object mapping fails. A local user can close a submitted buffer object handle and import a dma-buf without vmap support onto the same ID to cause a resource leak.
