Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper resource shutdown or release in the fsl_micfil PCM hardware parameter and free handlers when handling PCM stream setup and teardown requests. A local user can invoke hw_free without hw_params or invoke hw_params multiple times to cause a denial of service.
