Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to a null pointer dereference in BTF type display handling for BPF hash maps when reading a hash map with a key-less BTF through bpffs. A local user can create a hash map with a key-less BTF and read it through bpffs to cause a denial of service.
