Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper resource management in the VDUSE compatibility ioctl handler when handling VDUSE_IOTLB_GET_FD and VDUSE_VQ_GET_INFO commands. A local user can invoke these commands through the compatibility ioctl interface to cause a denial of service.
