Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local privileged user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free in tracer option file opening in tracefs when a trace instance is removed concurrently. A local privileged user can open a tracer option file while removing a trace instance to cause a denial of service.
