Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to trigger a kernel warning.

The vulnerability exists due to incomplete cleanup in the in-kernel MPTCP path manager's id 0 endpoint removal path when removing an id 0 endpoint while an ADD_ADDR announcement is pending. A local user can remove the id 0 endpoint while a pending ADD_ADDR announcement exists to trigger a kernel warning.

The warning is triggered when the path manager subsequently reselects id 0 after another signal endpoint is added.
