Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper interpretation of continuation IOCB payload data in the qla2xxx driver's qla27xx_copy_multiple_pkt() and qla27xx_copy_fpin_pkt() functions when processing a crafted Fibre Channel frame. A remote attacker can send a frame with payload bytes matching the RESPONSE_PROCESSED value to cause a denial of service.
