Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause memory corruption.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free in the qla2xxx host_map lookup path when report ID acquisition races with virtual port teardown. A remote attacker can trigger report ID acquisition for a virtual port being deleted to cause memory corruption.
