Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to trigger a use-after-free.

The vulnerability exists due to a race condition in the x86 page attribute management code when concurrently changing page attributes and collapsing CPA mappings. A local user can trigger concurrent page attribute changes and CPA collapse to trigger a use-after-free.
