Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to inject GENA events.
The vulnerability exists due to partial string comparison in GetClientSubActualSID when handling GENA NOTIFY requests containing a shortened SID header. A remote attacker can send a NOTIFY request with a SID that is a prefix of the stored SID to inject GENA events.
