Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause incorrect handling of PHMAC hash requests.

The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of an exceptional return code in PHMAC crypto request handling when a hash request transferred to the crypto engine returns EBUSY. A local user can submit a PHMAC hash request that is transferred to the crypto engine to cause incorrect handling of PHMAC hash requests.
