Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to trigger a use-after-free read in the kernel.

The vulnerability exists due to use-after-free in dma_chan_put() and dma_release_channel() when releasing a DMA channel drops the last reference to its device and frees the device and its channels. A local user can trigger DMA channel release to trigger a use-after-free read in the kernel.
