Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to consume kernel memory through a transmit FIFO leak.

The vulnerability exists due to failure to release allocated memory in sdio_uart_add_port() when attempting to add a port after all UART_NR slots in sdio_uart_table[] are occupied. A local user can trigger a port-addition attempt with a full port table to consume kernel memory through a transmit FIFO leak.
