Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to use-after-free in the MMCI driver's busy-timeout work when removing a device with delayed work still queued for an R1b command. A local user can trigger device removal while this work remains queued to cause a denial of service.

The delayed work can subsequently dereference the device-managed mmci_host allocation after it has been released.
