Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to out-of-bounds read issues in Cisco NX-OS Software when memory is read beyond its valid boundaries. A remote attacker can trigger out-of-bounds reads over the network to cause a denial of service.

Affected devices are vulnerable regardless of device configuration.
