Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of exceptional conditions in Cisco NX-OS Software when exceptional conditions arise during network-accessible operations. A remote attacker can trigger improperly handled exceptional conditions over the network to cause a denial of service.

Affected devices are vulnerable regardless of device configuration.
