CVSS v4: 6.3 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]
CVE-ID: N/A
CWE-ID: CWE-367
Exploitation vector: Remote access
Exploit availability: No public exploit available

Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication and obtain multiple authenticated sessions for a victim.

The vulnerability exists due to a time-of-check time-of-use race condition and a missing uniqueness constraint in the loginViaSaml handler and saml_nonces.nonce column when processing concurrent SAML assertion submissions. A remote attacker can replay a single captured valid assertion through two concurrent POST /saml/acs requests using separate cookie jars to bypass authentication and obtain multiple authenticated sessions for a victim.

Exploitation requires SAML SSO to be enabled and configured with valid identity provider metadata.
