Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges.
The vulnerability exists due to use-after-free in Windows Update Delivery Optimization when a race condition occurs. A local user can win the race condition to escalate privileges.
The resulting code execution occurs in the security context of the NT AUTHORITYNetwork Service account.
