The vulnerability allows a remote user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read in Windows Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS) when handling network interactions. A remote user can exploit the out-of-bounds read over a network to cause a denial of service.
