Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to misrepresent security-relevant information associated with serial API operations.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient authenticity enforcement in the DOM: Web Serial component when handling serial API operations. A remote attacker can trigger affected behavior to present misleading information as trustworthy.
