Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to potentially disrupt normal application behavior through improperly validated input.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in ImageIO when processing input. A remote attacker can supply malformed input to potentially cause unexpected application behavior.
