Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker on the local network to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper restriction of memory operations in the Wi-Fi component of Apple macOS when handling input. A remote attacker on the local network can supply specially crafted input to trigger a memory safety error and cause a denial of service.
