Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to potentially cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper restriction of operations within memory buffer boundaries in ImageIO when processing input. A remote attacker can supply specially crafted input that may trigger out-of-bounds memory access to cause a denial of service.
