Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to read inventory data, modify global inventory storage units, and corrupt private container location paths in eLabFTW.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient access controls on an API endpoint when the non-default anonymous access feature is enabled. An unauthenticated remote attacker can use an anonymous session to submit API requests that read and modify inventory records.
