Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local attacker to cause DoS condition.

The vulnerability exists due to buffer over-read condition in the crop_masked_pixels function. A local attacker can access and supply malicious files, trigger a buffer over-read condition and cause the affected application to crash.
