Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted S7 communication packet to a communication interface of the CPU and cause a denial-of-service condition of the core functionality of the CPU.
