Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to  HTTP POST request with a specially crafted "Host" header field may cause a NULL pointer dereference error, as demonstrated by the lack of a trailing ']' character in an IPv6 address. A remote attacker can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
