Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to the out-of-bounds write error in the "scan()" function in the "mad.c" file. A remote attacker can submit a crafted MP3 file to the system and cause a DoS condition.
