Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in JBIG2Stream::readGenericBitmap() function in JBIG2Stream.cc. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted PDF file and crash the affected application.
