Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the ModuleBuilder module in multiple parameters. A remote authenticated administrator can send a specially crafted request and execute arbitrary PHP code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.


How to mitigate CVE-2019-17301

Install updates from vendor's website. Install Hot fix applied to 7.9.5.0 for versions 7.9.
