Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error within the rds_tcp_kill_sock() function in net/rds/tcp.c in the Linux kernel 4.4.x before 4.4.195. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
