Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient input validation of a user-supplied value. A remote attacker can conduct a a cross-site scripting attack against a user of the HTTP web-based management interface of the Cisco Prime Service Catalog by convincing a user to click a specific link.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
