Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a man-in-the-middle (MiTM) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to the affected software incorrectly validate role/region associated with TLS certificates used for mTLS RPC. A remote attacker can supply a specially crafted TLS certificate, perform a man-in-the-middle attack and escalate privileges on the target system.
