Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper privilege management in the LenovoSystemUpdatePlugin for Lenovo System Interface Foundation component for Lenovo Vantage. A local user can execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.


Remediation

Vendor recommends to update Lenovo Vantage to version 10.2003.10.0
