Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local attacker to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when Windows improperly handles errors tied to Remote Access Common Dialog. An attacker with physical access to the booted machine can reach the logon screen, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system with elevated privileges.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
